Soltara Essences Hydrosols
What makes a hydrosol a hydrosol?
Hydrosols are the water that is produced from steam distillation of plant material. The water is gathered and processed. Hydrosols are best when kept in a temperature of about 55 degrees. The shelf life of an average hydrosol is about 1 year. When using a good hydrosol it has been processed and bottled immediately. Adding additional water to the concentrated hydrosol can contaminate the hydrosol and cause bacteria to grow. Hydrosols are about 20-30 times more concentrated than an herbal cup of tea. Each hydrosol is a more concentrated delusion of an essential oil. Often times make having the benefit of the oil at a tad bit lesser price. Each hydrosol has a small percentage of essential oil contained within the bottle. When using a hydrosol you can expect results similar to an essential oil only a hydrosol is not as concentrated.
